Test Changes
ACT Changes
The ACT has made the science section optional, reduced the number of questions overall in each section, and reduced the answers on the math section from 5 answers to 4.
There are only two new practice tests with the changes, but older tests are still good for practice as the content has not changed.
The Desmos calculator has been added to the computer version of the ACT.
The ACT website has contradictory information regarding Desmos, but they have sent out emails saying Desmos is part of the computer test no matter when the test is given.
The paper test still has students use their own calculators not Desmos. You can superscore paper and computer tests. So if your best score on the Reading and English sections is on the paper test because you can write on it, and your best score on the math is on the computer, you can combine the two for your superscore.
